Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Kearny, New Jersey. This role offers a unique blend of accounting and financial analysis responsibilities, providing opportunities to contribute to critical business processes and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed analysis of financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and Cash Flow reports.

• Update and refine financial models for FP& A purposes, incorporating trial balances and conducting variance analysis.

• Support month-end close processes by preparing journal entries and ensuring accuracy in general ledger maintenance.

• Manage lease accounting tasks, including updating assumptions in EasyLease software and handling equipment leases.

• Assist in preparing board packages and supporting ongoing financial projects.

• Collaborate with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC and Excel for financial modeling and reporting.

• Maintain effective time management to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Contribute to financial process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making. Requirements • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.

• Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and conducting financial modeling.

• Solid experience with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accuracy.

• Strong knowledge of lease accounting practices and familiarity with EasyLease software.

• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.

• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks with precision.

• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or similar financial systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
