As a **Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol** in **Denver, CO** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents, assist with access control, and monitor alarm panels as needed. Utilizing your communication skills and comfort with technology, you will interact with a diverse range of people while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and innovation. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.

+ Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting with staff and visitors as needed.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
