    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing specified menu items; works with a sense of urgency to meet time goals while adhering to recipe standards, and displays an attention to detail and food presentation.

    • Tastes products, follows menus, estimates food requirements, checks production and keeps records in order to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment as needed.

    • Maintains quality control for all products, including monitoring freshness of product.

    • Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment

    • Identifies and informs the Chef regarding any problems on station.

    • Maintains proper stocking of assigned stations.

    • Assists Chef in menu preparation, service and breakdown of function.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School Diploma or GED preferred and 6 months Sushi experience preferred.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, walking, listening, speaking and smelling. Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, reaching, twisting and balancing.

     

    The Associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

    Hours of Operation:

    Wednesday & Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm

     

    Friday & Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm

     

    Sunday: 3:00pm - 8:00pm

     

    Monday & Tuesday: Closed
