Brief summary of purpose:

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, delivering and maintaining API’s making use of existing technical capabilities and services in the enterprise as well as Cloud services. Align new solutions to the current architectural principles, development standards and integration framework in the organization. Work collaboratively within and across development and project teams in a fast-paced work environment. Development experience should include extensive Agile, Cloud and Azure design and development experience

Responsibilities

+ Experience working with SSIS andETL Processes: Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for data ingestion, transformation, and migration.

+ Database Design and Development:Designing and implementing database systems based on client specifications and organizational needs. This involves creating logical and physical database models, defining schemas, tables, and relationships.

+ Performance Tuning:The ability to optimize SQL queries, analyze execution plans, and tune database configurations for peak performance.

+ Monitor and analyze data qualityby implementing automated checks for missing values, anomalies, and volume discrepancies across daily feeds using SSIS and SQL Server.

+ Diagnose and resolve production issuesthrough root cause analysis using SQL queries, error logs, and .NET-based tools to trace data lineage and identify failures.

+ NET Development:Utilizing C# and other .NET technologies for scripting, automation, and building custom ETL components.

+ Familiarity with version control systems like Git

+ Ability to craft effective prompts for AI tools to generate high-quality code, documentation, and test cases and experience using AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development workflows.

+ Problem-solving and debugging skills

+ Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities

+ Adaptability to learn and implement new technologies

+ A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent

+ 5+ Years experience

Nice to Have

+ Design, develop, and maintain robust C# applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core

+ Health Insurance or Payer industry experience

+ Crystal Reports, Power BI, and Alteryx

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

License/Certifications:

Experience:

7+ years of experience of design, build, and testing experience in a large enterprise environment

7+ years API or application development

7+ year developing in C#, .NET Framework 4.x

3+ Working experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services (e.g. SQL Server, Azure Functions)

3+ Experience developing REST API using WEB API 2.0.

Object Oriented Programming, DI, Generics, Observable using Type Script

Proficient in Node.js and Angular-CLI platform, NPM Scripts

Hands on experience using and developing REST APIs using micro services architecture

Working knowledge of distributed enterprise architecture.

Strong understanding of Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Swagger (API documentation) or similar technologies.

Working knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server or similar technologies

Working knowledge of various source control technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub and Git

Working knowledge ofCI/CD and automated testing.

Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology.

Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve problems to make informed decisions as well as organize and analyze a solution as part of a whole and its individual components.

Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications.

Respond well to change; handle multiple demands / priorities effectively; adapt to best fit with situation at hand; handle conflict effectively; willing to accept new responsibilities; take initiative and be accountable.
