    Description

    Oversee the daily operations of the parts warehouse, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of material and parts within a manufacturing facility. A large focus for this role is to enforce compliance with safety protocols and operational standards. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating and leading a team to meet performance goals that align with operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Commitment to safety by adhering to and enforcing all company safety policies and protocols. Ensures a safe working environment for self and others.

    + Maintain accurate inventory by ensuring physical parts match with system information.

    + Works within the Supply Chain and coordinates with buyers and planners to escalate shortage conditions to minimize down time.

    + Monitors back-orders and shortages to ensure timely delivery when stock becomes available.

    + Supervise the parts team, including scheduling, training, performance reviews, and task delegation.

    + Accountable for the organization and cleanliness of the area both physically and systematically.

    + Clear communication and planning with other departments to meet schedule deadlines.

    + Provide support to internal and external customers by fulfilling parts needs.

    + Help Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and chase waste.

    + Utilize 5S and continuous improvement.

    + Take ownership and provide solutions to problems.

    + Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Highschool diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + Ability to adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining an excellent safety record.

    + Prior experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.

    + Proficient use of ERP’s and computer systems.

    + Strong leadership- ability to lead, coach, and develop people.

    + Ability to work in a high demand environment and manage multiple responsibilities

    + Excellent organizational skills and reliability.

    + Problem solving and decision making.

    + Ability to maintain positive relationships.
