In addition, DPHHS is the largest state agency with a wide range of advancement opportunities whether you are joining the workforce or have several years of experience. *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Behaviors): * Required for the first day of work: * Knowledge of medical practices and nursing procedures. * Knowledge of human resource principles and practices related to worker’s compensation * Strong writing skills including knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, the meaning and spelling of the words, rules of competition and grammar. * Ability to research, compile, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify and resolve a wide variety of issues and problems. * Ability to maintain confidentiality. * Strong presentation skills. * Ability to coach and motivate others to improve their knowledge and skills. * Ability to be understanding and remain nonconfrontational, while maintaining focus, demeanor and composure in dealing with individuals with differing points of view. * Ability to use software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. * Well organized with good attention to detail. *Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):* · Registered Nurse – BSN Preferred** · Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience** · Prior Occupational Health or similar experience preferred** · Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case by case basis. *How to Apply* **To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
