We are looking for a dedicated compassionate care professional to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.   Position Overview: Always Best Care of Fairfax is seeking an uplifting, compassionate and experienced CNA to provide personalized, in-home support for a client currently undergoing cancer treatment. This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life by offering not only practical assistance but also emotional encouragement during a challenging time. The ideal candidate will bring a gentle, uplifting presence and have prior experience supporting individuals on a cancer journey. Responsibilities include meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities, all delivered with empathy, patience, and respect for the client’s energy levels and emotional well-being. We are looking for someone who can be a ray of sunshine—someone who understands the importance of small moments of joy, attentive care, and genuine connection. If you are dedicated to helping others live with dignity and comfort, we would love to hear from you.   Primary Responsibilities: * Support the client in-home as they go through their treatments * Provide personal care tailored to the needs of the client, including assistance with ADLs (support with ambulation; bathing support, if necessary; etc) * Escort the client to medical appointments, social events, and community activities   Qualifications: * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active license in the state of Virginia * Positive, upbeat personality and a compassionate, client-centered approach * Experience caring for individuals on a cancer journey * Physically able to assist with transfers using gait belts or other mobility aids * Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation   Caregiver Benefits: * Competitive pay * Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile for client-related travel * Paid training and ongoing professional development opportunities   Join our team and make a difference in the lives of others!   Always Best Care of Fairfax is an equal opportunity employer.
