    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an **Entry Leve** **l C** **able and Harness Technician** to join our Manufacturing and Production team of qualified, diverse individuals in **Melbourne, FL.**

    Responsibilities/Duties:

    + Manufacture cable / harness products.

    + Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings.

    + Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.

    + Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.

    + Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + High School diploma or GED and hobby/technical related experience in mechanical, composites, body work, electrical, or other dexterous activities.

    + Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, perform repetitive physical movements, and handle and assemble small parts.

    + Ability to work any shift as needed by the business.

    + Ability to pass a new hire physical.

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with Manufacturing Cable and Harness and ISO processes

    + Able to read drawings and schematics

    + Works well in a team environment

    + Experience with Assembly harnesses

    + Ability to read wire list

    + Cable harness Braiding experience

    + Active Secret DoD Clearance and Program Access last investigated within the last 5 1/2 years

    + Able to travel domestically on short notice up to 25% of the time

    Salary Range: $36,300.00 - $60,500.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
