They play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing technology resources to meet organizational needs, enhance productivity, and drive innovation. IT contributes to areas such as technical support, system administration, networking, database management, software development, and project management.

**Job Summary:** The Server Engineer is responsible for the intermediate management of server infrastructure, including VMware vSphere, Active Directory, and Office 365. They design and implement complex infrastructure solutions, manage data protection and continuous data protection systems, and mentor Server Administrators to ensure effective team development and optimal system performance.

**Location:** On-Site in Cedar Rapids, IA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ **VMware vSphere Management –** Manage VMware vSphere Suite at an intermediate level

+ **Multi-Forest AD & Group Policy –** Manage and set up multi-forest AD and group policy objects in the enterprise at an intermediate level

+ **Script & Automation –** Create scripts and automate tasks using PowerShell, Powercli, Python, Ansible, and other tools

+ **Infrastructure Solution Architecture –** Architect complex infrastructure solutions from initial design through implementation

+ **Data Protection Management –** Manage data protection solutions, including Veeam, Avamar, PowerProtect, and others, at an intermediate level

+ **Continuous Data Protection –** Manage continuous data protection solutions, including RP4VM, Veeam, Zerto, and others, at an intermediate level

+ **Office 365 & Exchange Online Management –** Manage Office 365 and Exchange Online at an intermediate level

+ **Server Administrator Mentorship –** Mentor Server Administrators on a scheduled basis, one or two times per month

+ **Accountability & Reliability –** Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needs

Requirements:

+ High school diploma or GED
