Lead Quality Engineer
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
8+ years of strong technical skills in Cucumber Java Rest API and Selenium to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
Demonstrate expertise in the Payer domain to ensure domain-specific quality standards are met.
Have experience as a Scrum Master to facilitate agile processes and team collaboration.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues efficiently.
Show proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks to enhance test automation and coverage.
Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the quality assurance process by designing and implementing test strategies that ensure product excellence.
Oversee the development and execution of automated tests using Cucumber and Selenium to enhance testing efficiency.
Provide expertise in Java and Rest API to develop robust testing frameworks and tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality practices within the software development lifecycle.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and performance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in the Payer domain to maintain product integrity.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies as a Scrum Master to promote agile practices and continuous improvement.
Mentor and guide junior quality engineers to foster a culture of quality and excellence within the team.
Drive innovation in testing methodologies to keep pace with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Coordinate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.
Monitor and report on quality metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Contribute to the company’s purpose by ensuring our products positively impact society and meet the needs of our clients.
Support the hybrid work model by effectively managing tasks and communication in both remote and in-office settings
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 07/30/2025.
The annual salary for this position is between [$71,100– $112,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
