**VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley** is growing! We are adding experienced and knowledgeable ER RVTs to our team as we gear up to extend our hours back to 24/7 after updating and remodeling our beautiful, fully equipped facility!

**Location** : 22123 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364

**Compensation** : $ 30 – $ 45 / hr.

*DOE, education, and credentials.

*Shift diff two to four dollars/hr. Depending on shift from 7 pm - 7 am

**Schedule:** Day - 6 am - 3:30 pm / Swing - 2 pm - 12:30 am

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** :

+ Physical examinations and patient assessment

+ Anesthesia monitoring

+ Surgical preparation and assisting

+ Radiology

+ Laboratory work

+ Venipuncture

+ Catheter placement

+ Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Must have documented previous experience

+ Hold a current RVT license

+ Must have emergency experience

+ Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays

+ Customer service skills

+ Working knowledge of computers

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Capable of being cross-trained as a receptionist and kennel assistant

+ Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
