We are seeking a Intake Manager who embodies our core values of Empathy, Passion, Integrity and Commitment, to lead and manage the Intake team to ensure accurate and compliant order intake, billing, and insurance verification. This role requires strong technical skills to navigate multiple ordering platforms and a comprehensive understanding of the workflow from order intake to ERP system entry.
About the Position
Leadership and Team Management
+ Supervise the Intake and Verification teams, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and coaching.
+ Assign workloads, monitor productivity, and set performance expectations.
+ Foster a collaborative, detail-oriented team environment.
+ Lead team meetings to communicate updates, set priorities, and address concerns.
Order Intake and Workflow Oversight:
+ Manage end-to-end intake workflows, ensuring a smooth transition from referral request to ERP system creation.
+ Identify and resolve potential process inefficiencies, optimizing each step of workflows.
+ Ensure timely and accurate handling of incoming orders.
Billing and Insurance Compliance:
+ Ensure all orders meet payer requirements, including benefit verification, medical necessity qualification, and prior authorization.
+ Maintain adherence to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer standards.
+ Act as a resource for billing and coverage policy questions from team members.
Technical Proficiency:
+ Utilize and oversee multiple ordering platforms and ERP systems.
+ Train team members on system use and ensure accurate data entry.
+ Collaborate with IT or system support teams to resolve technical issues impacting workflows.
Reporting and Performance Metrics:
+ Track intake performance, including accuracy, timeliness, and compliance metrics.
+ Analyze trends and recommend process improvements based on data insights.
+ Prepare performance reports for leadership review.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
+ Partner with departments such as billing, documentation, customer service, and operations to align intake processes with broader revenue cycle goals.
+ Partner with HR for recruiting, onboarding, and staff development.
+ Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organizational values.
Qualifications for Success
+ 3+ years of management experience in intake, billing, or a similar role strongly preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, healthcare, or a related field strongly preferred.
+ High School Diploma, GED required.
+ Strong knowledge of billing and insurance requirements in healthcare.
+ Technical expertise with ordering platforms and ERP systems.
+ Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
+ Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation
+ $60,500 - $70,000 annually, dependent on experience
