Remote Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Opportunity

One of our growing clients is expanding their Accounts Payable team and is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join them! This is a fully remote position from 7:30AM-4:30PM Eastern Standard Time.

Job Duties:

+ Conduct in-depth research to validate qualifying items under scholarship guidelines

+ Accurately process reimbursements using the EMA platform

+ Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of issues

+ Performance-Based Processing

+ Start by processing ~30 reimbursements/day

+ Progressively increase to 100+/day with training and experience

+ Assist with AP automation initiatives

+ Research and code invoices to the appropriate grants

+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice and reimbursement discrepancies

Necessary Skills:

+ Experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role

+ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

+ Familiarity with EMA or similar reimbursement platforms is a plus

+ Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
