Job Title: Accountant

Job Description

An experienced Accountant is needed to assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.

Responsibilities

+ Process accounts payable and receivable and assist in reconciliation.

+ Verify and complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and receivable.

+ Assist with month and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries.

+ Reconcile balance sheet accounts and inventory/cycle counts.

+ Process remote check deposits.

+ Enter biweekly payroll journal entries to the general ledger.

+ Assist with annual audit and tax data requests.

+ Perform weekly accounts receivable collections.

+ Reconcile all bank accounts, petty cash, and employee credit card records, and reconcile related general ledger accounts.

+ Coordinate processing and distribution of W-2s and 1099 forms.

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP.

+ Respond to information requests in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years of experience in finance/accounting.

+ Strong numeracy and analytical skills.

+ Good problem-solving and time management skills.

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel pivot tables.

+ Experience with manufacturing and ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum Associate's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment, requiring on-site presence 3 days a week in Ponca City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $72000.00/yr.

Pay $60-7210% bonus potential144 hours of PTO accrued24 hours PTO from day 1

Workplace Type

This is a hybrid position in Arkansas City,KS.
