    Job Title: Healthcare SupportJob Description

     

    This role involves supporting the ramp-up during the flu season and serving as the first point of contact for patients. Key responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, verifying information, scheduling appointments, and updating electronic health records.

    Responsibilities

    + Greet and check in patients upon arrival.

    + Verify patient information and schedule appointments.

    + Update electronic health records accurately.

    + Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient needs are met.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic understanding of medical terminology.

    + Experience in a clinical setting.

    + Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    + Time management and organizational skills.

    + Insurance verification knowledge.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma.

    + Experience in a healthcare setting.

    + Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a clinic setting, providing a great opportunity for those living in the East Bay area who currently commute to San Francisco. The work environment is supportive and collaborative, focusing on patient care during daytime hours.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
