Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing building automation systems using advanced DDC (Direct Digital Control) technology. You’ll work hands-on at client sites—like data centers and commercial buildings—making sure systems run smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll lead small to mid-sized projects, load and configure software, fine-tune system performance, and train building operators on how to use their systems. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working independently, and making a real impact, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

+ Install, troubleshoot, and optimize building automation systems (DDC-based)

+ Lead on-site technical efforts and resolve complex system issues

+ Deliver turnkey projects from start to finish

+ Configure software, trends, alarms, and reports

+ Train building owners/operators on system use

+ Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

+ Keep projects on track and customers satisfied

What You Bring

+ 2+ years in BAS, HVAC, controls, or a technical field

+ Experience with systems like WebCTRL, BACnet, and Modbus

+ Strong understanding of PID loops and network protocols (TCP/IP, wireless)

+ Ability to explain technical info in simple terms

+ Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools

Bonus Skills

+ Hands-on experience with sensors, lighting, fire safety, and data centers

+ Field service, maintenance, or commissioning background

+ Project management and troubleshooting skills

Work Environment

+ Primary site: Data Center + Casinos and other Industrial buildings

+ Hours: ~7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hrs/week, overtime paid)

+ PPE and company truck provided

+ Hotel and meals covered for jobs 80+ miles away

+ Some travel to outer AZ areas

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $45.00/hr.
