Who** **we’re** **looking for
Toyota’s Corporate Tax Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Tax Senior Analyst
Reporting to the Tax Senior Manager the person in this role will support the Tax Strategy team with various research and analytics initiatives. Includes but not limited to evaluating new business transactions and tax impacts to the Company by participating in team meetings with various members of the Finance team, Product Planning, Governmental Affairs, Legal and Business Strategy groups, etc.

+ Provides high value-added, often complex, research, analysis and recommendations; Provides input and advice to business unit/function management and internal/external customers
+ Often asked to offer creative ideas and solutions
+ Manages mid-size projects (sometimes cross-functional)
Knowledge & Skills:
+ Apply seasoned expertise/proficiency combining conceptual understanding and broad applied experience
+ Apply advanced analytical and project management skills
+ Apply well-developed communications skills
Problem-solving:
+ Analyzes often non-standard, high-impact and/or complex issues; monitors, oversees and guides other team members
+ Applies macro-view to analytical work; applies judgement and expertise to get things done and resolve often new or difficult work-related challenges
+ Plans and coordinates project work independently; proactively promotes and integrates Kaizen in all efforts
+ Works independently with latitude for independent judgement in day-to-day work
What you bring:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
+ Public Accounting experience
+ CPA License
+ Experience in Fortune 100 Corporate Tax Department
+ Strong analytical skills with experience looking at financial statements, data, and transactions and consolidating it to key metrics
+ Ability to work collaboratively and independently across all levels of the company
+ Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions such as vLookups, pivot tables, data analysis tools, and complex formulas
Added bonus** **if you have:
+ Graduate Degree with emphasis in Tax
+ Big IV Accounting firm
+ Experience in continuous improvement using transformational technology and strong skills in systems similar to SAP, PowerBI, CorpTax, Alteryx, etc.
+ SQL scripting skills
