Description
The Lab Technician III, in accordance with forecasted production requirements and assignment, participates in the Chemistry Manufacturing department via: Manufacture products within ISO regulations Review/reconcile documents and work orders Support assigned projects with supervision Maintain daily adherence to Production goals relating to labor utilization, work order closure, and schedule adherence
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Education/Experience
• BS Degree in Chemistry/Biology/Physics plus 0 years’ experience (graduated within 12 months of application) or Diploma/AA plus 3 years of work experience in a GMP environment. Previous training and experience in the operation of lab equipment and use of lab chemicals and tools preferred. Knowledge/Skills
• Basic algebraic, statistical and mathematical skills
• General computer knowledge
• Good organizational skills
• Laboratory skills, such as reagent/solution preparation, pipetting and testing
• Good verbal and written communication skills • Good interpersonal skills • Knowledge of QSR’s and ISO 9001
• Basic Chemistry or Biochemistry
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records and notes, and the ability to carry out assignments in a through, conscientious fashion. • Demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and ability to use MS Office and other manufacturing systems
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
