Key Responsibilities
+ Design and analyze structural systems for bulk material handling equipment, including conveyors, silos, hoppers, bins, and supporting steel and concrete structures.
+ Perform load calculations for static and dynamic forces, including material loads, wind, seismic, and equipment-induced forces.
+ Develop engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
+ Use STAAD.Pro for structural modeling and analysis.
+ Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (AISC, ASCE, ACI, IBC, OSHA, MSHA).
+ Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, CAD designers, and construction managers.
+ Conduct site visits and structural inspections to ensure proper implementation of designs.
+ Provide technical guidance to drafters and junior team members.
What We’re Looking For
+ Proficiency in steel and reinforced concrete design.
+ Experience with structural analysis, dynamic loading, vibration, and fatigue analysis.
+ Understanding of material flow mechanics and wear considerations in bulk handling structures.
+ Proficiency with Bentley STAAD.Pro and MicroStation.
+ EIT certification preferred; PE license or a clear path to licensure required.
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in structural design and analysis (bulk material handling experience is a plus).
+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $52.88/hr.
