Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician who will be responsible for performing various lab tests and analyzing samples. The role requires maintaining accurate records and adhering to strict laboratory standards. The successful candidate will prepare samples for analysis by weighing, diluting, and mixing according to established procedures, and operate analytical instruments, mainly HPLC.
Responsibilities
+ Perform various lab tests and analyze samples.
+ Maintain accurate records and adhere to strict lab standards.
+ Accurately prepare samples for analysis by weighing, diluting, and mixing according to established procedures.
+ Operate analytical instruments, mainly HPLC.
+ Conduct analytical analysis.
+ Perform wet chemistry tests including viscosity, titration, pH, etc.
+ Collaborate with scientists on developing analytical methods.
+ Conduct sample preparation and reference sample preparation.
+ Prepare sample solutions for scientists.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Chemistry, Quality Control, and Laboratory practices.
+ Experience with Wet Chemistry, Lab Testing, and Analytical Chemistry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Science with completed courses in General Chemistry I and II with labs.
+ Basic understanding of lab equipment.
+ Preferably has lab experience outside of school.
Work Environment
The position involves working in a laboratory setting. It offers a long-term contract with exposure to various tests and research and development projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
