Job Title: Biologist - Controlled Environments

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated biologist to join our greenhouse lab team. The successful candidate will spend part of their time working in a greenhouse and then process their samples in a laboratory setting. A strong experience in biology or science is essential, along with solid Excel experience and familiarity with plant-related work.

Responsibilities

+ Collect high-quality plant material for laboratory analysis from various crop species and environments.

+ Process plant material samples in a laboratory setting while effectively communicating with study directors, operations personnel, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with approved protocols and standard operating procedures.

+ Upload and track information within greenhouse and laboratory systems.

+ Effectively communicate experimental results, activity status, and potential concerns with the team and external stakeholders in a timely manner.

+ Optimize and troubleshoot technical issues, identify process improvements, and provide innovative solutions for implementation.

+ Proven ability to collaborate in a team and meet project deadlines

+ Experience working in a GLP environment

Work Environment

The role involves working both in a greenhouse and a laboratory setting. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team, utilizing advanced technologies to support plant-related research. Dress code and specific attire requirements will be communicated during the onboarding process.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
