    Job Title: Tooling Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. This role involves designing and developing metal tooling products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of precision tooling and die making to enhance production capabilities and drive innovation.

    Responsibilities

    + Design new tooling used to produce metal products, focusing on 3D design of high-quality metal stamping dies.

    + Maintain detailed documentation of tooling designs, modifications, and research findings.

    + Prototype and develop high-quality metal stamping dies and tooling for high-volume manufacturing processes.

    + Create prototypes and test new tooling designs to ensure they meet production standards and specifications.

    + Utilize R&D/Shop equipment such as Press Brake, Hydraulic Press, CNC Lathe, and Mill to build prototype tooling and dies.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in designing stamping processes within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

    + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.

    + Proficiency in CAD software, with Solidworks preferred.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    + High level of precision and attention to detail.

    + Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
