At Manhattan Beer & Beverage Distributors, our vision is to be the leading beer distributor in the market.

Imagine building a business from the ground up, with nothing more than 1 truck, 4000 feet of warehouse space, 2 Beer Brands and a lot of determination! Simon Bergson, founder and owner of Manhattan Beer & Beverage Distributors, has done exactly this, growing our business over the last 40 years to exponential heights. Manhattan Beer & Beverage Distributors now has 1.5 million feet of warehouse space, the distribution rights to 300 brands, 400 trucks and services 15 counties. Our aim is to provide great service to all of our customers from the convenience store owner to our big chain operators, restaurants, bars and hotels.

Your Main Focus Will Be:

+ + Ensure productivity, accuracy, and timely completion of the loading/unloading operation.

+ Adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.

+ Manage product rotation and product replenishment processes.

+ Contribute to warehouse organization and housekeeping.

+ Assist in the process of receiving incoming freight when needed.

+ Assist in the training and development of new employees.

+ Accurately send/receive transfers to and from other warehouses.

+ Assist in managing overtime & all other operational costs relative to day operations.

+ Assist other departments (Recycling, Delivery) with the check-in and check-out.

Position Requirements:

+ Associate's degree is a plus.

+ Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in receiving and distribution.

+ Experience working with a unionized workforce.

+ Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word. Advanced skills are a plus.

+ Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems. Eostar and Vocallect a plus.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent leadership and communication skills.

+ Solid time management skills, ability to prioritize, and work under deadlines.

+ Baseline knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.

+ Understands the concept of FIFO and has slotting experience.

Salary: $70,000.00-$75,000.00

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
