Title: HR Business Partner – Analytics & Insights
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: Vice President, People

Purpose:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This role blends traditional HR business partnership with advanced HR analytics to drive data-informed decision-making. The HRBP formulates strategic partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services that reflect the objectives of the organization. The position requires strong business acumen, data literacy, and a deep understanding of HR practices.

Essential Job Functions:
+ Partner with leaders to understand business strategy and workforce drivers; identify HR capabilities required to achieve goals.
+ Provide expert consultation on employment law, employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and diversity and inclusion.
+ Utilize HR data to provide actionable insights related to workforce trends, turnover, DEI, talent acquisition, and compensation.
+ Design and deliver regular dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc reports using Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
+ Conduct predictive and strategic analytics to forecast workforce needs and assess HR initiatives.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in HR metrics and business KPIs to support operational excellence.
+ Maintain business literacy about financials, mid-range plans, culture, and competition within assigned units.
+ Partner with management to improve employee relations, boost morale, and enhance retention.
+ Administer and monitor Leave of Absence (LOA), including STD and LTD claims.
+ Manage Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Document & Task Management, Position Management, and Unemployment via HRIS (PAYCOM preferred).
+ Lead or participate in cross-functional HR initiatives focused on analytics, scalability, and process improvement.
+ Ensure regulatory compliance with federal/state labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, ACA, ERISA, etc.).
+ Consistently interpret and enforce company policies and procedures related to employee relations and risk management.
+ Investigate and resolve employee concerns, workplace issues, and disciplinary matters.
+ Support employees on HR-related topics, including compensation, benefits, payroll, and leave programs.
+ Promote a culture of accountability, equity, and measurable HR performance.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of People.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications for Considerations:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
+ 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in an analytics-focused role.
+ PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
+ Strong understanding of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, performance management, and compliance.
+ Proficiency in HRIS systems (PAYCOM preferred) and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to transform data into strategic insights.
+ Familiarity with SQL, R, or Python for data analysis is a plus.

+ Experience building and managing HR dashboards and workforce data models.

Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers, and engage in frequent computer use.
+ Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
Working Conditions:
+ Standard office environment with frequent use of computers, phones, and office equipment.
+ Occasional travel required.
