    _SSM Health is looking for an Experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our Team!_

     

    _Monday-Friday-8:00AM-4:30PM_

     

    _No weekends/ Holidays or on call schedule_

     

    _Primary location our_** **_Developmental Pediatrics located in Edwardsville, IL with the potential need to float to one of the MO locations._

     

    _Preferred experience with supporting children with developmental delay, autism and ADHD_

     

    _This position is a mix of working with a developmental pediatrician in evaluation appointments to support developmental delay diagnosis and offering SLP therapy to children with developmental delays._

     

    _Our off-site clinic in Edwardsville is in a serene spot and our team at this location is growing._

     

    _We will have a developmental pediatrician on site 3 days a week, plus OT and one additional SLP supporting the team._

    Pay Range:

    $34.23 - $51.35

    Pay Rate Type:

    Hourly

    Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.

    + Educates and counsels patients and family regarding treatment plans.

    + Maintains clinical records and follows performance improvement recommendations.

    + Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from speech therapy services. Provides information regarding appropriate support programs.

    + Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION

    + Master's degree

    EXPERIENCE

    + No experience required

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    + Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

    + Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

    + Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

    + Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

    + Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

    + Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

    + Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

    + Rare climbing.

    REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

    Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
