    Customer Experience Specialist I

    As a Customer Experience Specialist I, you’ll be the guiding voice for consumers navigating the mortgage loan process. Operating in a dynamic call center environment, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from loan origination to closing.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    + Be a customer success advocate in a fast-paced call center setting.

    + Engage with consumers via inbound and outbound calls and text messages (with express consent).

    + Manage a pipeline of up to 75 active loans, currently averaging:

    + 60 loans per week (12 per day)

    + 30 customer calls per day

    + Multiple touchpoints per loan from origination to closing

    + Provide timely and accurate responses to mortgage loan inquiries and requests.

    + Perform routine data entry and validation tasks to support loan processing.

    + Handle communications via calls, emails, and chats with internal teams, consumers, and authorized third parties.

    + Monitor work queues and proactively intervene to keep things moving.

    + Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and expedite loan processing.

    + Conduct basic research to resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues when needed.

    + Meet production and quality standards while following established policies and procedures.

    + Demonstrate professionalism and alignment with company values in every interaction.

     

    What You’ll Bring

    Qualifications:

    + At least 1 year of experience in financial services; mortgage experience is a plus.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Proven success in phone-based customer service in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.

    + Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

    + Comfortable using mainstream computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).

    + Assessment score of 50+ preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
