• Process Engineer

    KIHOMAC (Colorado Springs, CO)


    + Develop and refine systems engineering and configuration management processes, procedures, and methodologies

    + Create process documentation, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training material

    + Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities

    + Design future state process maps and implementation roadmaps

    + Facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities

    + Create metrics and reporting frameworks

    + Conduct process audits and compliance assessments

    + Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    Education/Training:

    + Bachelor’s Degree any STEM related field preferred

    + Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) preferred

    Experience:

    + 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area

    + 3+ years of experience in process engineering, or related field

    + Must have experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

    + Must have experience with process modeling tools

    Security:

    + Must be a US citizen

    + Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance

    Physical Requirements:

    + Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms

    + Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk

    + Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)

    + Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

    Salary: $100,000 - 135,000
