Fire Alarm Installation Technician – Contract to Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to join our growing team, working on new construction projects including large condo and apartment complexes. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role focused on installing fire alarm systems from the ground up—no troubleshooting or programming required.

Top Skills & Experience:

+ 3–5 years of experience installing conventional and addressable fire alarm systems

+ Strong in commercial environments and rough wiring

+ Proficient with 18-2, 16-2, and 16-4 wiring

+ Skilled with hand tools: drills, hammers, multi-meters, etc.

+ Able to handle a fast-paced, labor-intensive workload

Nice to Have:

+ Experience with pipe work

+ Familiarity with fire alarm programming (via laptop or annunciator)

What You’ll Be Doing:

+ Installing fire alarm systems in new construction buildings

+ Running wire, drilling holes, and mounting boxes

+ Completing work in up to 10 units per day

+ Using your own vehicle to travel to job sites (up to 1 hour away)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
