• IT Support Technician

    TEKsystems (Round Rock, TX)


    Description

    Required ● 2+ years in IT support or help desk roles ● Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Office365, and cloud platforms ● Experience in networking and system configuration ● Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical users The IT Support Technician manages and resolves internal IT issues, maintains hardware and software systems, and ensures company-wide tech accessibility and cybersecurity. This role provides frontline support and contributes to system enhancements, hardware rollouts, and cloud platform maintenance. As an IT Support Technician, you will: ● Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and walk-in requests ● Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices ● Create and manage user accounts across Office365, SharePoint, Azure, and other platforms ● Administer Active Directory, Exchange, and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V) ● Deploy and document network equipment, firewalls, and cabling installations ● Assist in cybersecurity monitoring and response ● Document technical processes, solutions, and inventory ● Coordinate telecom contractors and external vendors
