    Description

    Tyto Athene is searching for a **Junior Computer Analyst (NOC)** to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

     

    The Junior Computer Analyst (NOC) provides entry-level support for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure. This role supports 24/7 operations and works under the supervision of senior analysts and engineers to ensure the availability, performance, and security of network and system resources.

    Responsibilities:

    + Monitor network, server, and application health using NOC tools and dashboards

    + Respond to alerts, incidents, and service interruptions by following established procedures

    + Escalate unresolved or critical issues to senior staff according to escalation guidelines

    + Document incident details, actions taken, and resolution steps in the ticketing system

    + Perform basic troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls, and other infrastructure components

    + Maintain logs, shift reports, and handoff documentation for 24/7 coverage

    + Support routine system checks, patching coordination, and preventive maintenance tasks

    + Assist with asset tracking, cable management, and inventory tasks as needed

    + Communicate status updates clearly to stakeholders and team leads

    + Follow all security and operational guidelines for handling sensitive information and systems

    + Provides Tier 1 troubleshooting for network incidents, diagnosing and resolving issues related to connectivity, hardware, and software failures

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + Highschool diploma or equivalent

    + 0-3 years of experience in IT help desk, support, or monitoring environment

    + Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

    + Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems

    + Strong communication skills and attention to detail

    Desired:

    + Associate’s degree in related field

    + Experience working in a 24x7 operational environment

    + Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, SCOM, Splunk)

    + Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)

    + Basic scripting or automation knowledge

    + CompTIA Network **Clearance:**

    + Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

    Certification:

    + DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
