    Culture & Engagement Specialist I

     

    The position of Culture & Engagement Specialist I is responsible for supporting the execution and optimization of Niagara’s culture offerings. With guidance and direction from the Senior Manager and/or Associate Manager the Culture & Engagement Specialist I focuses on the planning, coordination, and execution of all culture programs while providing exceptional levels of partnership and support to the business, all HR partners, and team.

    Essential Functions

    Culture Programs & Initiatives

    + In partnership with the Associate Manager, coordinate and execute all onsite and hybrid core culture offering logistics, including participant enrollment, participant resourcing, facilitator recruitment and support, program resources/materials, and program attendance.

    + Produce selected program components including informational participant kick-off calls, informational manager calls, and informational calls with HR partners.

    + Develop and deliver all culture program participant surveys and strategically incorporate feedback on the program for optimal learning and impact.

    + Collaborate with the Learning Team for ongoing program optimization and learning design, including all material updates​.

    + Collaborate with Marketing and HR Communications to develop all culture program marketing content for use on digital communication screens, intranet, and print.

    + Coordinate all inclusion program logistics and reporting​ including managing program marketing and communications design, participant enrollment, participant resourcing, facilitator recruitment and support, program resources/materials, and attendance reporting.

    + Coordinate and execute on all aspects of ad hoc culture learning sessions (“Culture Conversations”) including content design, resource/materials development, and facilitation as needed.

    + Leverage existing people analytic tools (“Workday”) for ongoing measurement and reporting.

    + Plan and execute Heritage/Identity Month onsite activities, including related resource creation and support for plant HRMs, coordinating on-stie speakers, and overseeing set-up/take down for specific events.

    + Review and edit Heritage/Identity articles drafted by Associate II.

    + Support the back-end logistics and execution of all Niagara LIFE groups, including maintaining participation records, communications, onsite activity set up, and other engagement activities.

    Other

    + As needed, in partnership with the Senior Manager, coordinate and execute all logistics, including travel/lodging, onsite program needs, program resources/materials, set-up, and attendance related elements for leadership culture offerings in response to bi-annual Engagement Survey results.

    + Maintain intranet culture page content ​related to all Culture Programs, including all design and technical aspects of page support​, maintaining critical page updates on a regular basis.

    + As directed, research and employ best practices in facilitation, culture, and team member development in support of annually prioritized initiatives in alignment with Niagara’s business need and values.

    + Work independently to make impactful decisions and execute towards all established role objectives.

    + Build trust and strong collaborative working relationships with Niagara HR team and other business partners.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum Qualifications:

    + 0 Years – Experience in Human Resources, Higher Education or similar environment

    + 0 Years – Experience in an internal or external customer facing administrative, support, coordinating, or project management role.

    + 0 Years – Experience managing projects, sending communications, and working with data.

    + Preferred Qualifications:

    + 2 Years – Experience Human Resources, Higher Education or similar environment

    + 2 Years – Experience in an internal or external customer facing administrative, support, coordinating, or project management role.

    + 2 Years – Experience managing projects, sending communications, and working with data.
