    Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid\-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle\.

     

    The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150\-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets\. _This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD\._

    What will I be doing?** **What will I be doing?

     

    This role involves supporting both short\- and long\-term planning, as well as the day\-to\-day operations of rooms and related areas\. You will serve as a vital resource to the Operations Team, assisting during peak periods and providing coverage for Rooms Leaders when they are unavailable\. You will work across multiple departments including Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Valet Parking to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences\.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Assist in the management and coordination of Rooms operations across the front and heart of the house\.

    + Quickly analyze operational statistics and use insights to help improve property performance and guest satisfaction\.

    + Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational standards and procedures\.

    + Engage frequently and positively with guests, resolving any issues or complaints promptly and effectively\.

    + Maintain ongoing communication with management and various departments to ensure guest service needs are consistently met\.

    + Regularly move throughout all rooms departments to visually monitor ambiance \(lighting, music, temperature\), business activity, staffing levels, service steps, timing, standards, and cleanliness\.

    + Assist in maintaining operational pars and back\-stock levels by supporting quarterly OSE \(Operating Supplies and Equipment\) inventories\.

    + Support human resources functions within the rooms division, including assisting with hiring, training, coaching, and employee development\. Help foster a motivated and high\-performing team\.

    + Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment and civil rights laws within supported departments\.

    + Provide on\-the\-ground support to the Director of Rooms by assisting with operational initiatives, staffing coordination, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly\.

    + Serve as a flexible and reliable presence in the Rooms Division, stepping in to cover for departmental leaders across Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Laundry, and Valet Parking as needed\.

    + Contribute to maintaining Hilton’s standards and brand reputation by consistently delivering quality service and operational excellence\.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned by management\.

    **Salary Range:** The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 \- $110,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location\.
