    Provide technical expertise for multiple system interfaces within Patient Access. Tracks and trends errors to develop and conduct and/or provide input into associate training. Acts as a liaison with the Business Office, IT, and clinical staff. Daily oversight of operations and management of error, audit, and productivity (as applicable). Troubleshoots equipment problems and communicates the needs for associates. Communicates shift needs to the supervisor or manager as appropriate. Provides input for associate evaluations (as applicable). Committee involvement as assigned. May provide project management as needed.

     

    + Provides support to the Patient Access department.

    + Responsible for generating reports and statistical data relative to quality measurements, productivity and collections.

    + Collects and assists with quality screening for staff and or unit reports as it relates to compliance and regulatory requirements.

    + Participate in the development and delivery of training protocols competency assessments.

    + Educates and verifies that the staff adhere to hospital and departmental policies.

    + Provides technical expertise and oversees project development within the department.

    Qualifications:

    In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    + Certified Healthcare Access Associate - CHAA certification or obtained within one year of hire (as applicable

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    Physical Requirements

    Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally.
