    LOCATION VA Medical Center: Immediate opening for a contracted stylist who is skilled in all types of haircuts and styles, including face and neck shaves, for men and women.

    Job Type:

    + Full-Time

    + Salon and Hospital Ward Service needed

    + Independently owned and operated by you

    + Work 2-3 times a week

    Hair Stylist Requirements:

    + Commitment to providing an excellent guest experience

    + A valid barber/cosmetology license

    + Able to pass a background check

    + Possess or obtain liability insurance in the amount of $1 Million

    + A comfortable approach to working in an exciting fast paced environment without sacrificing quality.

    + The ability to listen to our guests needs, communicate clearly with our guests to deliver the highest level of service and have fun while doing it!

    + Experienced and new hair stylists welcome

    + Professional, friendly, self- motivated barber

    + Ability to run your own business in a professional manner

     

    Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is required for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
