    Waste Connections is offering a $2k stay on bonus for a diesel mechanic | Pay depends on experience | Full-Time + OT + Benefits

     

    Join **Waste Connections** as a Diesel Mechanic and keep our fleet running strong! We’re hiring experienced techs to perform maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks—covering everything from hydraulics and electrical to engine systems. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and values safety.

     

    • **What We Offer:**

    • $ hourly based on experience

    • Consistent hours: 50–60 hrs/week, Mon–Fri +alternating Saturdays

    •️ **What You’ll Do:**

    • Perform preventative maintenance & inspections

    • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues

    • Handle on-road breakdowns and emergency calls

    • Keep shop clean, organized, and safe

    • Accurately document all work performed

    • **Requirements:**

    • 3+ years of diesel or heavy truck experience

    • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

    • ASE cert and CDL (A or B) a strong plus

    • Reliable, hard-working, and safety-minded

    • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
