    JOB SUMMARY:

    Manager, Biomed/Clinical Environmental, under the general supervision of the Dir, Clinical Info & Biomed, is responsible for all supervisory & management functions related to the operation of Biomedical Services. Provides the full range of Biomedical services, including management of equipment planning, maintenance, purchasing, contract management, personnel management, financial performance & distribution of equipment, quality, safety & education. Manages the equipment rental & loan program. Serves as content expert for medical equipment for the hospital, clinics, satellites, Bernardy Center & Homecare.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Associate's Degree

    5 Years of Experience

     

    Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position

     

    Associate's Degree or 6 years plus of professional Biomed medical equipment consulting, contract management, personnel management, purchasing/financial performance, installment, and servicing in lieu of degree.

     

    Knowledgeable of all applicable federal, state, health and other regulatory laws, ethics and standards related to hospital pharmacy operations

     

    3 years management experience

     

    Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others

     

    Demonstrated experience in trouble shooting techniques of biomedical electronics and computer repair and design.

     

    Strong fiscal planning skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree

    6 Years of Experience

     

    Biomedical Equip/Engineer Tech

    The current salary range for this position is $48.03 to $66.06
