Position Summary
The T&E analyst will be responsible for the administration of all aspects of corporate travel expenses within the North America region. The role involves managing both internal and external customer service requests as well as reviewing reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. This position will provide guidance to other team members in resolving issues related to business travel, employee reimbursements, and credit card reconciliations.
Responsibilities
+ Administer and manage the company's expense management system
+ Provide training and support to employees regarding travel and expense policies, procedures and system usage
+ Identify and investigate discrepancies, policy violations, or potential fraud in submitted expenses
+ Manage corporate credit cards including card issuance/cancelation, payment processing, reconciliation, and reporting
+ Assist departmental personnel, including C-Suite, with questions or concerns regarding business travel, expense reimbursement, or other expense and travel-related matters
+ Work closely with internal customers to develop efficient processes while providing excellent customer service
+ Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Legal, Accounts Payable, and Information Technology to resolve complex issues relating to our travel and expense programs
+ Generate periodic reports and dashboards to track spend, compliance and trends
+ Liaise with travel agency, card providers, and expense management vendor to resolve issues and optimize programs
+ Month end close responsibilities including journal entries, account clearing, reporting, reconciliations, late fee notices to teammates, etc.
+ Develop process improvements to increases efficiency and user experience
+ Provides backup to Purchasing Card Analyst
+ Other duties and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
+ Minimum 3 years of experience working with a bachelors degree in a corporate travel and/or expense programs required; or 5 without a bachelors degree
+ Experience with Concur, SAP, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Excellent communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email, instant messenger, and face-to-face interactions
+ Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow through
+ High level of integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality
+ Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem solving
+ Ability to handle multiple competing priorities simultaneously
