    Job Description:

    L3Harris is seeking a proactive and dedicated Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of our Manufacturing Engineering programs, policies, and training. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

    Essential Functions:

    + Design, develop, automate, deploy, and/or sustain Operations projects involving manufacturing technologies required to support the L3Harris products and services portfolio

    + Troubleshoot integration and automation projects involving process and/or machine programming/scripting in order to bring a process back online in a manufacturing environment; Regularly implement continuous improvement projects to reduce cost/schedule, increase throughput, reduce defects, and drive success into the Operations organization

    + Support manufacturing through hands-on experiences pertaining to product offerings; Become familiar with process documentation and assist in updates to manufatcuring build documentation as required.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Manufatcuring Engineering, Applications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science or a related field.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment

    + Knowledge of and/or understanding of Universal Robots with associated UR+ caps including vision, torquing, dispensing, soldering, and other supported applications

    + Familiar with various control systems standards such as IEC 61131, ANSI B11, NFPA 79, and RIA 15.06
