Shift: Sunday-Wednesday Days

Work with your team to install, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, building systems, plumbing, and electrical components—including ammonia and industrial refrigeration systems—in a cold storage environment, all while following safety guidelines and direction from leadership.

Are you an experienced maintenance technician looking to grow your skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment? We’re hiring a Refrigeration & Mechanical Maintenance Technician II to help keep our cold storage facility running smoothly. This is a great fit for someone with a background in HVAC, industrial maintenance, or refrigeration who enjoys problem-solving and working with a team.

What You’ll Do:

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and material handling equipment.

Troubleshoot and service refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, or CO₂)—some refrigeration experience is required.

Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status and repair needs to leadership.

Operate power tools, welding equipment, and motorized lifts as needed.

Follow all safety standards and protocols while working in a temperature-controlled environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or industrial setting with exposure to:

maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE)

Plumbing, electrical, or general building maintenance

• At least 1 year of hands-on refrigeration experience (Freon, CO₂, or Ammonia systems) or experience in HVAC...** **_Some refrigeration or HVAC experience is required to be considered._

• Comfortable using power tools and hand tools, with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance and communicating with the team.

• Willingness to work in cold storage temperatures (as low as -20°F) while wearing PPE.

Other Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Flexibility to work weekends or varying shifts as needed

Comfortable working at heights and around moderate to high noise levels
