Job Description:
1st shift!
Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Friday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM
$19 per hour
Position Summary:
This role is responsible to perform warehouse department activities such as order selection, shipping, receiving, loading, storage, inventory control, etc. in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining accuracy within our pharmaceutical distribution center.
Here’s what you’ll do:
+ Responsible to perform warehouse department activities
+ Responsible for data entry, maintaining files, processing warehouse shipping and receiving and/or transportation paperwork, etc.
+ Unloading products from trucks; breakdown pallet and stack product on pallets and organize products to be placed into appropriate warehouse racks/pick slots.
+ Receive product; check product for damage, verify accurate product, quantities received, and all other pertinent information according to purchase order.
+ Move or otherwise handle cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets as identified on order forms, in the quantities specified.
+ Review reports generated from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate placement of product and follow established processes and procedures.
+ Monitor product for proper rotation and check code dates.
+ Complete order selection: select products from the warehouse racks/pick slots, assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for orders, and label cases/pallets with order labels in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
+ Ensure shipments are properly packed and sealed to ensure that all customer-ordered products are available/loaded, and product is secure to ensure an undamaged shipment and delivery.
+ May need to restack and palletize product.
+ May assist with the inventory processes (i.e., cycle/physical counts, code date checks, etc.) and ensure accurate and timely reporting and maintenance of inventory records; ensure timely responses to inquiries and resolution of any issues (i.e., product condition, dates, quantities available, etc.).
+ Assist with sanitation duties to include cleaning the warehouse, emptying garbage, etc. as assigned.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly disposing of pallet boards, and other trash, etc. and ensuring any spills are cleaned up quickly and according to safety guidelines.
+ Report damaged product and quality issues and notify supervisor of out-of-stock or low volume product(s).
+ Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Here’s what you’ll need:
+ High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED).
+ Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
+ One year warehouse distribution experience preferred.
+ Must be able to follow verbal (oral) and written instructions.
+ Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently within a warehouse operation.
+ Able to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and other material handling/industrial equipment.
+ Must follow safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies and practices.
+ Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs.
+ Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.

Must frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls. Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed. While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
