• Systems Engineer

    ManTech (Lexington Park, MD)


    ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Systems** **Engineer** to join our team in **Lexington Park, MD** . This is an **onsite** position.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.

    + Reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.

    + Performing functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.

    + Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, or evaluating software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.

    + May provide tasking and supervision to lower-level employees on the program.

    + Domestic Travel up to 10%.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Scientific area

    + 3+ years of experience working in areas associated with engineering and/or systems engineering

    + Experience utilizing Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

    + Experience in working with one or more of the following: Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, Engineering Data Requirements Agreement Plan (EDRAP, Airworthiness Qualification Plans (AQP), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with Navy aircraft or surface ship systems

    + Experience writing and executing ECPs

    + Familiarity with NATIPS and NATOPS

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must be a US Citizen and posses an active Secret clearance in order to perform work on this contract.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Tasking is primarily computer based.

    + The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.

    + Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods.
