Your Key Responsibilities

+ Single point of contact for relationship management / dispute resolution between supplier and plant.

+ Lead the assigned commodity and support purchasing manager / director in strategic planning processes and project management.

+ Monitor costs and status of negotiations, contract status, and percent of spend under contract, while maintaining and ensuring agreements remain active and in place.

+ Develop and drive price reductions within the commodity.

+ Negotiate with supplier to acceptable pricing levels and onboarding.

+ Secure required approvals for awards and issue purchase orders to the supply base.

Your Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree.

+ Minimum 5 years of related purchasing experience.

+ Strong blueprint comprehension.

+ Basic mechanical and technical comprehension.

+ Experienced in working with cross-functional teams.

+ Strong negotiation, project management, and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

+ Excellent personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Power BI.
