    FLSA Status:Non Exempt

     

    Pay range: Low$21.31 per hour High$23.44 per hour

     

    Schedule:Full time

     

    + Monday - Friday 8:00Am -4:00 Pm

    + Hybrid Remote with a minimum of 3 days on-site per week.

    + Some weekend work hours are needed for special events, projects, etc.

     

    Job Summary:The Development Operations Associate supports a variety of Development functions including gift processing, gift acknowledgment, updating and maintaining data in Raiser’s Edge, as well as providing administrative support for special projects and events for the Development department. In addition, it acts as a first line of contact for general donor inquiries and inquiries and provides stewardship of touchpoints to annual fund donors.

    Essential duties / responsibilities:

    + Processes all gifts delivered to SFH directly.

    + Maintains accurate gift and donor records in the Raiser’s Edge database.

    + Prepares and mails timely donor acknowledgments (approximately 25,000/year)

    + Address donor questions via phone and email and forward them to appropriate staff when needed.

    + Sends weekly gift report to the Development team.

    + Maintains department calendar

    + Provides administrative support to the Development Department

    + Assists with special projects in support of fundraising priorities

    + Adheres to agency code of conduct

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Required Skills & Abilities:

    + Self-directed with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    + Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages

    + Proficiency in English

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

    + Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

    Education & Experiences:

    + Associate’s degree or higher with one to two years of related experience and/or training, preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required

    + Familiarity with CRM platforms (ex: Raisers’ Edge) a plus

    + Lived experience of homelessness and/or recovery a plus

    Physical Requirements:

    + Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    + Ability to lift up to 10-pounds, as needed

    + Occasionally standing and moving throughout multi-level buildings.
