Compensation

$43,750 - $48,750 (yearly)

Primary Responsibilities

+ Provide counseling and other professional social work services to assigned students/families in accordance with their individualized needs

+ Formulate, implement and evaluate treatment component of each assigned student's Individualized Educational Plan

+ Assure timely communication of all essential information including treatment recommendations/outcomes

+ Complete initial assessments and discharge summary reports, individual treatment plans, progress reports and other professional documentation in an accurate, comprehensive and timely manner

+ Fulfill other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

+ LMSW and School Social Worker Certification or MS in School Counseling and School Counselor Certification

+ Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, compassion, patience, and active listening

+ Ability to effectively work with individuals from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and lifestyles

+ Ability to physically restrain if required

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous experience in Special Education
