Description
Fulltime Position - 40 hours
Salary Range - $60,000 - $62,000
This role is grant funded and contingent upon availability of grant funding - Current funding extends to May 2026.

The Program Coordinator will oversee and support thePaid Family Medical Leaveproject funded by the NJ Department of Labor (NJDOL) CARE grant, with a focus on increasing awareness and access to Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) benefits among pregnant individuals and families in New Jersey. This role will serve as the central point of contact for program coordination to include training logistics, conducting trainings as needed, community engagement efforts, and coordination of materials translation.
Essential Functions:
Training & Engagement:
+ Coordinate and schedule training sessions for internal teams, providers, and community partners.
+ Conduct trainings as needed, both virtually and in person.
+ Support awareness-building activities, including outreach events and digital campaigns.
Collaboration & Communication:
+ Work closely with the System Manager, NJDOL, and cross-functional teams to align deliverables with grant objectives.
+ Serve as liaison to community-based organizations and clinical partners to support outreach and education.
Translation Coordination:
+ Manage the translation of all grant-related materials, ensuring cultural and linguistic appropriateness for diverse patient populations.
Documentation & Reporting:
+ Track training participation, translation requests, and engagement metrics.
+ Assist with grant reporting and evaluation activities.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in public health, communications, social work, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
+ 3+ years of experience in program coordination, training, or community engagement.
+ Experience working with the New Jersey’s Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) programs and benefits strongly preferred.
+ Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to see to read documents and hear well enough to communicate with others.
+ Must be able to write, type on a computer, and use a phone.
+ Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
+ Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
+ Additional requirements to be determined with input from Director and HR.
