    Overview

     

    The Dog Ranger is responsible for patrolling designated areas of the SpaceX facility with a trained canine to ensure safety, detect potential security threats, and deter unauthorized activity. This role combines physical security responsibilities with canine handling and care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Patrol assigned areas with a trained canine to monitor and secure the facility.

     

    Conduct perimeter checks and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns.

     

    Respond to alarms or incidents, providing support to the security team as needed.

     

    Maintain constant control of the canine while on duty.

     

    Ensure the dog is properly cared for, including feeding, hydration, and breaks.

     

    Complete incident reports and daily logs accurately and promptly.

     

    Comply with all company policies and SpaceX site-specific protocols.

    Requirements:

    Prior experience in canine handling (law enforcement, military, or security preferred).

     

    Ability to work outdoors and on foot for extended periods.

     

    Strong observational and communication skills.

     

    Must pass background check and drug screening.

     

    Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

     

    Must be comfortable working in high-security, fast-paced environments.

     

    **Schedule:** 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Open availability required; two days off per week)

    **Pay Rate:** $15.00 per hour
