**Shift** :Nights (Tuesday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am, Friday 6:30pm-7:00am) OR (Tuesday-Thursday 6:30pm-7:00am)

**Location:** AdventHealth Daytona Beach - Imaging Department

**The community youll be caring for:** 301 MEMORIAL MEDICAL PKWY, Daytona Beach, 32117

The role youll contribute:

Performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical information as needed. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Assists in radiology department as needed. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies

The value youll bring to the team:

+ Performs Ultrasound studies.

+ Positions patients and equipment, manipulates transducers and technical factors in order to obtain images, heart rates, waveforms and other information as needed to obtain optimum images and information for diagnostic purposes.

+ Notes velocities, measures structures and documents adequate clinical history as needed for accurate interpretation by Radiologist.

+ Performs ultrasound Imaging procedures of abdominal, and pelvis structures, as well as OB and trans-vaginal ultrasound. Performs small parts (Thyroid, testicular), and breast imaging as well as vascular imaging, and Doppler studies.

+ Coordinates equipment service and preventative maintenance.

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

**Minimum qualifications** :

+ Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required and

+ Amer Reg Diag Med Sonography (ARDMS) Required or

+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required

Preferred qualifications:

+ Associate Preferred

+ Prefer experience in sonography or a new graduate of accredited sonography program

+ Certification in ABD, GYN, OB, and Vascular preferred. Preferred

+ Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred
