Overview
The Account Supervisor is a strategic leader and tactical expert responsible for driving flawless project execution and managing key client relationships within our advocacy portfolios. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams—including creative, project management, finance, and client stakeholders—to ensure initiatives align with client goals and agency strategy while maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing strategic input with hands-on leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
Tactical Execution
+ Lead project execution from initiation through completion, ensuring scopes and deliverables align with client expectations and quality standards
+ Oversee and guide internal teams (creative, junior staff) and clients to ensure efficient workflows and alignment with strategic goals
+ Serve as the client’s primary point of contact for day-to-day project execution, including tactical development, internal and client reviews, and deliverable approvals
+ Lead annual planning sessions, brainstorming, and ongoing tactical adjustments
+ Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with project management, creative, finance, and other departments to streamline processes and enhance team effectiveness
+ Demonstrate adaptability by managing and implementing tactical shifts in real time, responding to evolving client needs while maintaining project integrity
Client Relationship Management
+ Own client relationships with confidence and professionalism; communicate directly and frequently to build trust and credibility
+ Confidently lead client calls and presentations, clearly communicating project status, opportunities, challenges, and next steps, while ensuring timely and effective agency follow-through
+ Understand client needs, strategic positioning, and competitive landscape to provide expert counsel and proactive solutions
+ Manage complex and sensitive client conversations with diplomacy and tact
Strategy
+ Provide day-to-day business leadership with a strong strategic perspective
+ Contribute meaningfully to overall account strategy development and implementation
+ Keep the team informed of changes in client priorities and competitive environment through regular, clear communication
+ Maintain a deep understanding of client positioning, advocacy landscape, and key issues to inform tactical decisions
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree required4-6+ years of experience in account services, preferably within bio-pharmaceutical, healthcare communications, or management consulting environments
+ Demonstrated business acumen, decision-making ability, and comfort navigating ambiguity
+ Proven experience managing and mentoring junior staff (minimum one year preferred)
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong influence and diplomacy
+ Strong organizational skills with a results-driven mindset; able to drive agency processes and deliverables efficiently
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $106,260 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
