    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced **Infrastructure Solution Architect Engineer** to support a leading aerospace client’s **Space Systems Verification and Test team** in El Segundo, CA. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll help shape the infrastructure behind complex test systems that support factory and launch readiness for space programs.

     

    Drive Innovation at the Core of Aerospace Testing

     

    As an Infrastructure Solution Architect Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team responsible for hardening, deploying, and automating Special Test Equipment (STE). Your work will directly impact the success of mission-critical aerospace systems, ensuring the infrastructure supporting them is modern, secure, and efficient.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Interface with multiple technical teams to support and deliver test infrastructure solutions.

    + Contribute to planning, design, integration, and modernization of hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure.

    + Leverage deep knowledge of virtualization, networking, and storage to harden and deploy infrastructure systems.

    + Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager to implement best practices in server room and lab environments.

    + Develop engineering documentation and repeatable processes to increase efficiency.

    + Operate hands-on with a wide range of lab and test equipment to support system readiness.

    What You’ll Bring:

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, mathematics, or related discipline.

    + 5+ years of experience leading or guiding technical teams.

    + Strong expertise in infrastructure components: cloud services, virtualization, storage, networking, and NIST-compliant system deployment.

    + ??????? **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.**

    + **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical teams and stakeholders.

    + Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, or CCNP.

    + Experience with:

    + Managing large-scale server and IT systems

    + Automation tools (e.g., Ansible)

    + Mixed Unix/Linux and Windows environments

    + VMware vSphere

    + Python programming

    + Project management across lifecycle phases
