Regional Security Operations Manager - North America
The North America Regional Security Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the North America security organization, ensuring the protection of employees, visitors, guests, and company assets. You are responsible for minimizing business disruptions at company-sponsored events and safeguarding against economic losses. You will participate in security-related projects to promote the goals and objectives of the North America security organization.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Conduct investigations in support of the Director, North America Security, related to suspected violations of laws and regulations concerning criminal matters such as fraud, computer crimes, intellectual property, workplace violence, and other security issues;
+ Lead the development of physical security processes that align with the business model for new Regional sites;
+ Act as an SME and advisor to North America site representatives, developing mitigation processes related to physical security enhancements;
+ Partner with teams across the security organization and North America business platforms to understand information requirements, deliver timely recommendations based on threat analysis, and present key insights and security direction to internal stakeholders;
+ Perform effective protection measures to ensure the security of employees at large company events;
+ Serve as a security lead advance agent or detail leader on protective security assignments;
+ Coordinate protective security details with key business stakeholders;
+ Foster an environment of trust and confidence through exemplary integrity and professionalism;
+ Travel as necessary to provide event security protection and provide safe and secure ground transportation for company officers;
+ Coordinate with intelligence organizations for threat analysis and general intelligence activities to assess appropriate security measures at business-sponsored events;
+ Work closely with investigations involving threats against North America leadership team members;
+ Be available on-call for emergencies and adaptable to changing schedules, including travel, overtime hours, weekends, and holidays;
+ Implement, maintain, update, and document actions related to access control badging and onboarding orientation briefings for new employees at Regional sites;
+ Be willing to travel, to conduct investigations, security vulnerability assessments, training, and support site operations through assignments to augment contractor or uniformed patrol groups.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
+ Bachelor's degree or no less than five years of previous corporate security experience, including managing a contract security staff of at least 20 officers;
+ Demonstrated proficiency in administering access control platforms such as Ccure, Lenel, and Milestone;
+ Must be an effective communicator in all aspects—written, verbal, and able to present and lead large groups;
+ Ability to interact professionally with personnel from other world areas and cultures, presenting concepts and ideas logically;
+ Experience in protection concepts, physical asset protection, risk analysis, and working under pressure in stressful, high-profile, sensitive, and life-threatening situations;
+ Understanding of physical asset protection philosophies and personal protection concepts and theories;
+ Background in corporate security, law enforcement, investigations, military, or physical asset security;
+ Recognize the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information;
+ Unrestricted driver's license and ability to travel as needed;
+ Ability to process voluminous amounts of information, convert it into clear and concise reports, and present the information verbally.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $ 90,142.40 - $135,213.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
